Wedding Receptions are a specialty. There is so much to a Wedding Reception that only the Bride & Groom know how much goes into a special day like a Wedding. I know every Wedding Reception is different, and that's why I treat each one so special. First off, I set up my equipment about 3 hours before anyone arrives. This ensures that all wires are hidden and all equipment is checked and double checked to make sure everything is just perfect. This way when your first guest arrives, I am starting Hors D'oeurve music, making the first guests feel at home. I know Wedding Receptions are not the place for advertisements, so you will not see any banner promoting me. This is your Wedding Day, and you are in the spotlight, not me. My dress is formal (a full tuxedo) for your Reception from start to finish. The music that I play is what you have requested and we have discussed before the Reception. I will gladly take requests from your guests, and mix them from your requests from my questionnaire. This means the music that I play is want you and your guests want to hear. Of course there are exceptions, no obscene lyrics, and nothing extremely heavy as far as rock music goes. All music that I play will be tasteful, and will only be played if all your guests will enjoy them. I work hand in hand with your photographer, videographer, and banquet manager to ensure that events run smoothly. When I entertain at your Reception, I am not only the entertainment, but the host from start to finish. Also, when you hire me, you get me. I am my own company and will not subcontract any work in order to turn a buck. When you hire me you also get my 15 years of experience, and when entertaining at Wedding Receptions, experience is what counts! My Wedding Reception Package provides everything you could ask for at your Wedding Reception. I set up 3 hours before your reception to ensure everything in ready to go. I provide music as your first guest walks into the reception area. I introduce your Wedding Party as they make their Grand Entrance into the Reception area. A cordless microphone is provided for the Best Man to give his toast, and the person giving the Blessing. I provide music throughout your dinner. I host your Reception from start to finish including all of the traditional dancing events throughout the day. And the dance music after dinner is high energy and music everyone will enjoy because I take requests from your guests. My spectacular light show is included with the price at no charge. My Wedding Reception package covers up to 5 hours starting when the Bridal Party arrives. Most Receptions are 5 hours long, but can be extended as needed. The cost is $550.00 and taxes are included. Additional hours over 5 are $60.00 per hour. There is a $100.00 deposit to secure the date, which leaves you with a remaining balance of $450.00 due on the date of your Reception. There is a $25.00 per county travel fee added for every county traveled outside of Blair.
